Payment Policy

Theaoura is a 100% prepaid store. Every order is paid online at checkout through secure, RBI-authorised payment gateway partners. We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD) or pay-later on delivery.

Payment methods we accept

  • UPI — Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and any UPI app
  • Debit and credit cards — Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, American Express and Diners (as supported by our gateway)
  • Net banking — all major Indian banks
  • Wallets — popular Indian wallets, as available at checkout
  • EMI / Pay Later — where offered by your bank or our gateway partner at checkout

Why we don't offer Cash on Delivery

Going fully prepaid is a deliberate choice that lets us give you a better experience:

  • Free shipping on every order. COD handling fees and returned-to-origin parcels add significant cost. Skipping them is how we keep shipping free for everyone.
  • Faster dispatch. A confirmed payment means your order moves straight to packing — no confirmation calls or holds. Most orders leave our studio within 48 hours.
  • Fair pricing. The money saved on COD logistics goes back into better fabrics, finishing and quality checks instead of higher prices.
  • Contact-free, safer delivery. No cash or change to handle at your door; your parcel is simply handed over.
  • Less waste. Refused COD parcels travel across the country and back for nothing. Prepaid orders mean fewer wasted journeys and less packaging waste.
  • Your money is always protected. If we can't fulfil your order for any reason, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method.

Payment security

  • Payments are processed by RBI-authorised payment aggregators on PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure, with 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption.
  • Card payments may require two-factor authentication (OTP) as mandated by the Reserve Bank of India.
  • Theaoura never sees or stores your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking passwords.
  • We will never call, message or email you asking for an OTP, PIN, card details or a payment to a personal account. If anyone does so claiming to be Theaoura, please do not share any details and report it to us immediately.

Prices, GST and invoices

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of GST. A GST tax invoice issued by Partython Private Limited (GSTIN 33AANCP1567D1ZH) is emailed with your order and included in the parcel.

Failed or pending payments

If money was debited but your order was not confirmed, don't worry. The payment is usually auto-reversed by your bank or payment provider within 5–7 business days. If it is not, write to us with your transaction reference and we will help you trace it.

Refunds

All refunds — for cancellations, out-of-stock items or eligible returns — are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of initiation. See our Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
